Help preserve traditional knowledge and connection to country

Our mission is to create enduring self-determination and economic opportunities for Indigenous communities to engage with culture and heritage on country.

We support community-led initiatives in capacity building, education, research, and creative solutions.

We use archaeology as a tool for learning, storytelling and promoting shared understandings between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples.

We walk alongside and are guided by First Nations communities to create meaningful relationships and develop and deliver traditional custodian-led research and projects for the benefit of all Australians.

Our Values

Our Story

Everick Foundation was born on the Atlantic Ocean of all places.

Our Founder, Tim Robins was reflecting on Traditional Custodianship here in Australia and the limitations that were present in the existing cultural preservation space.

He decided there and then that when he was back on the soil of Australia that he would make a difference; that he would build a team of people, who with Traditional Custodians could preserve heritage in a meaningful way.

Our Work

Our ranger programs, fire management awareness and cultural mapping work has positively reduced social and educational disadvantage experienced by Aboriginal groups on Country in Australia. Importantly, our relationships have helped several of our community partners and Traditional Owner groups to take their first steps in sustainable caring for Country initiatives, and positively impacted future employment outcomes.
